May in Tennessee

We are well into May and things are gorgeous here in Middle Tennessee. With school wrapping up and all the crazy spring sports in full swing, we are just about to Summer break and boy am I ready for it! If you’re local to Nashville, you’re gonna want to be at all these events. And if you’re not, head over to delta.com and get your flights booked ASAP. May is absolutely beautiful here in TN as it’s not too hot and humid but full of blossoming trees and flowers everywhere!

I’m in full swing wrapping up this office renovation for a June 1st Grand Opening so I already know this month is going to fly by but I plan to take a few breaks to hit up some fun events this month. Hope to see you there!

Nashville May Events

  1. Amy Grant at the Ryman Auditorium -May 9th and 10th

The most amazing local farm with fresh pick-yourself-tulips! Spend the day choosing the best tulips for yourself to display on these perfect spring days! Also fun for dogs and the family with lots of activities as well as a petting zoo! It’s a perfect activity for the whole family.

  2. Savannah Bananas at Nissan Stadium - May 10th

Always concert ready here in Nashville, Kane Brown is hitting the stage and this is a must see concert! Concerts are extra fun here in Nashville as you never know who might show up on stage. I can only imagine he’s got a few friends that will stop by!

  3. Music City Rodeo at Bridgestone Arena - May 29-31st

Although this happens all year long, I think April is when it really starts to get good! All the fresh blossoms and produce are ready to go and you really start so see some amazing options. I personally love the fresh flowers, homemade jams, and the fresh fish from Florida! You can’t get much better than that!

  4. Trisha Paytas – The Eras of Trish Tour - May 31st

Another great concert coming up this month is Megan Moroney. This newcomer has hit the stage and become a top artist quickly. I saw her open for Kenny Chesney last year and she definitely was a crowd pleaser! This is a fun one you won’t want to miss!

  5. Franklin Rodeo - May 15-17th

The East Nash Beer Fest brings together over 1,000 craft beers right here in TN! While this is already enough to get you there, it also benefits local charities so it’s a win-win!

  6. Tennessee Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Farm Experience - All Month!

The festival and plant sale boasts flowers, vegetables, herbs, and even goods for your garden! Swing by and get your spring garden started and support the fundraiser!

  7. Mother’s Day Tea by Southall - May 10th and 11th

Another tulip festival, this is a little closer to Nashville in Bellevue and has free admission. While tulip season is winding down for them, Strawberry picking season is picking up and will be starting in mid April! Check their website for updates and what you can go and pick! It’s another great family friendly day!

It’s going to be a great month in Nashville!! Come join the fun!!
